The main topics of the next PlugFest are, among others, the test of the functions in the current version 2.3 and the coming version 2.4:
CAN in Automation would like to invite you to the 5th plug fest CiA 417 V2.1 (CANopen lift), on September 25, 2012, in Nuremberg, Germany.
* testing general interoperability (Lift controller versus other CANopen lift devices),
* testing load measurement,
* testing energy saving and the energy measuring functions,
* testing 'Position Supervisor Unit' functionality (as far as implemented).


The 5th CiA 417 plug fest is focused on testing the interoperability.  
The CiA will send the invitations to the members of the lift group. If you are interested in the test of your components at one of the next PlugFests please contact CiA and send the current EDS files of the devices you wish to be tested.

The last meeting of the Marketing group lift took place on 12 September 2012 at the company [[ELFIN GmbH]] in Cologne.
 
The next meeting of the SMG lift is scheduled for 29 January 2013 again at [[ELFIN GmbH|ELFIN]] in Cologne. An invitation to the meeting was sent to the members of CiA. Directions to this meeting is available on the homepage of the [http://elfin.de/en/get_in_touch ELFIN GmbH].

The date for the meeting after the next meeting was set on before. The marketing group will meet on 5 March 2013 in Heilbronn. Please reserve this date before.

To verify the interoperability of the CANopen modules in July 2013, the 6th CANopen Lift Plugfest takes place in Nuremberg.
 
The focus of the next Plugfests are among others in the test of the functions of the current version 2.1:
 
* the ErrorCounter
* the energy-saving features and power measurements
* Load / save parameter sets
* the bootloader function
 
The CiA will send the invitations to the members of the group to lift Plugfest as soon as the exact date has been set. If you are interested to test your components, you should contact the CiA and send the latest EDS files of the test equipment to the CiA.
