Welcome to CANopen-Lift.orgThis wiki is about the CANopen technology used in a lift. Here we discuss the topics application profile, technical solutions, products and applications and we will present some references with this technology. This wiki is attended by the CANopen-Lift community, the members of the SIG Lift and of the MG Lift. You are cordially invited to add your own content to this subject. If you do don't know how to do this refer to our tutorial. You can find an overview over this wiki in the Community portal or in the Site categories. Currently, this wiki is biliterate. In year 2002 we began with a German website and in year 2005 with a German wiki. CANopen's increasing awareness in more and more countries all over the world brought us to the decision of setting up an English wiki, too, in order to meet the demand of information. At this time you will find most of the information only on the German part of this wiki but we are working hard on translating. If you liked to help us, contact the Webmin, please. We hope you enjoy your visit and draw inspiration from this wiki. Yours sincerely,
Interlift 2015From 13th to 16th of October the Interlift 2015, world leading exhibition for lift technology, took place in Augsburg. This time again CiA was represented with its own booth covering the topic of CANopen-Lift and also the known CANopen-Lift demonstrator as well as the new demonstrators have been shown to demonstrate the functionality of CANopen in lifts. On a displays the two image videos were shown, which have been created by the MG Lift. CANopen-Lift was present everywhere on this exhibition. The standard is now accepted worldwide and is being applied in more and more products. Many manufacturers took the opportunity to get informed about the standard in a personal talk or to get specific advice for the development of new products. Many new and known CANopen products were also shown on various other booths. An overview and plenty of additional information about the Interlift can be found in the following article.
Model lift system with CANopen componentsThe Heilbronn University started a a research project, that aims at various aspects of the automation of elevators with CANopen, such as compliance testing "in the loop" and the possibilities of telemetry and remote diagnostics. The goal of the project is an elevator system model built in 1:10 scale and controlled via original CANopen components. |
