I do think, it is a very good experience. From my point of view, this moment s very important in the process of developing for a product, you can test quickly your device, which you were working a lot from time ago, and you can see an error that you could not simulate in your laboratory "It is a turning point". A lot of ideas are comming, and you can discuss these directly with the controllers developers.

My name is Alberto Ruiz, I work at MICELECT S.L as Software developer and Mechanical designer.

During years, we have been developing Load weighing device units according CiA® 417 series: Profile for lift control systems. Several times, the control units had been tested in PlugFest join some control device manufacturers (Böhnke & Partner GmbH,Kollmorgen Steuerungstechnik GmbH, Sprinte SAS, Weber Lifttechnik GmbH...). The results were satisfactory. A long the years, we have improved our products adapting it to the standard protocol, even we have propose improvements in the protocol to try standardize all load weighing device settings.

Plug fest 12th CiA® 417 (2016-04-12)

In the last Plug fest, a lot of companies were testing their products with the differents control device manunfacturers. I do think, it is a very good experience. From my point of view, this moment is very important in the developing process of a product, you can test quickly the device, which you were working a lot time ago, and you can see an error that you could not simulate in your laboratory "It is a turning point". A lot of ideas are comming, and you can discuss these directly with the control device developers.
