In June 2015 the companies Böhnke + Partner, Cedes, ELFIN, ELGO, Intec and Kollmorgen met to define the objects and functions of a new virtual device: the 'Position Supervisor Unit', which captures safety the position and speed of the lift and provides the functions of the limit switches, limit switches in inspection mode, the UCM-monitoring among many others.
