Bisher bestand nur für die Steuerung die Möglichkeit, dem Antrieb ein Fast Stop-Kommando zu senden. Mit dem zunehmenden Interesse an sicherheitsgerichteten elektronischen Lösungen (PESSRAL) besteht der Bedarf, dass auch solche Sicherheitseinrichtungen bei Gefahr unabhängig von der Steuerung dem Antrieb ein hoch priorisiertes 'Fast Stop'-Kommando senden können. Die technischen Details dazu wurden besprochen und werden in die kommende Version der Spezifikation einfließen.

With the increasing interest about safety-related electronic solutions (PESSRAL), the controller should be able now to send a high priority 'Fast Stop' command to the gear in case of danger. The technical aspects will be explained and including in the next version of the specifications.

Schon vor vier Jahren gab es einen Vorschlag von der Firma Schaefer, wie man die Daten von Transpondern oder RFIDs einlesen und über Bus allen Geräten bereitstellen kann. Dieser Vorschlag wurde von Böhnke + Partner und Schaefer überarbeitet und in die ersten Geräte integriert, wie auf der Interlift 2013 in Augsburg zu sehen war. Die Funktionsbeschreibung wird nun noch einmal aktualisiert und wird auch Eingang in die nächste Version der CiA 417 finden. Dann können viele standardisierte Transponder-Systeme, RFID-Karten oder Handys mit NFC-Funktion verwendet werden, um beispielsweise priorisierte Rufe zu geben, als Zugangskontrolle oder zur Passworteingabe bei der Wartung.

There is already for 4 years a guideline from the company schaefer about how to read the data from transponders or RFIDs and how to provide all devices on the bus. This guide was discussed from Böhnke + Partner and Schaefer and integrated in the firsts devices, as we will see in Interlift2013 in Ausburg.  The function description will be updated and included in the next version of the CiA 417. Then many standardized transponder systems, RFID cards or mobile phones can be used with NFC function to give priority calls, for example, to access control or to enter the password for maintenance.
Zurzeit besteht für jedes Gerät die Möglichkeit, ein virtuelles Menü auf den Bus zu legen, das von einem anderen Gerät mit Display dargestellt werden kann. Somit kann zum Beispiel der Umrichter über das Display der Steuerung bedient werden.

Die Funktionalität der virtuellen Konsole ist zurzeit auf die Übertragung von Text begrenzt. Mehr und mehr Geräte jedoch besitzen grafische Displays und stellen auf diesen Icons, Symbole oder Fahrkurven dar. Um auch diese übertragen zu können, wird die Funktionalität der virtuellen Konsole entsprechend erweitert. Zusammen mit dem CAN2BLUETOOTH-Gateway der Firma Sprinte besteht dann beispielsweise die Möglichkeit, alle CANopen-Geräte eines Aufzug drahtlos mit einem Smartphone zu konfigurieren.

Zur Überprüfung der Interoperabilität finden regelmäßig so genannte PlugFests statt. Bei diesen wird an Hand von Checklisten die Einhaltung des Standards und die Kompatibilität der Komponenten untereinander überprüft. Zusätzlich werden neuen Funktionen getestet und spezielle Tests durchgeführt, wie zum Beispiel die maximale Ausdehnung der Netzwerke oder das Verhalten bei extremen hohen Buslasten.


Für das kommende PlugFest ist zusätzlich die Überprüfung des Verhaltens beim Empfang von Emergency Codes, das Auslesen und Schreiben von Parameter Sets, die Funktion von Error Countern zur Ermittlung der Busqualität und die Funktion des Bootloaders für Softwareupdates getestet.
PlugFests take place regularly to test the interoperability of CANopen products. On them, the monitoring of the standards and the compatibility of the components are discussed. In addition, new features are analysed and specific tests performed, such as the maximum extent of the networks or the behaviour at extreme high bus loads.
 
On the upcoming Plugfest the behaviour when receiving emergency codes, the function of reading and writing parameter sets, the function of error counters to determine the bus quality and the function of the boot loader software update will be tested, as well.
