| Hisselektronik was founded in 1994 by Lars Gustafsson, with over 20 years of experience in installations and trainer of troubleshooters at KONE Sweden.

To guarantee high quality and short lead times, all development and production is made “in house” We have a wide range of highly automated production machinery with screen printers, pick & place machines, lead-free soldering, testing machines, etc.

| The first range of products was lift controllers, speech synthesizers and floor displays. Lift emergency telephones were developed in 1998 and the first GSM based telephone in 1999. The share of GSM is steadily increasing and one in three sold lift telephones are now GSM.

| Due to the nonstop development of emergency lift telephones the product range is today Hisselektronik’s most sold range of products.

| In 2002 the company signed the first contracts for distributors (outside of Sweden) in Finland and Norway.

| This success was soon to be followed by a distribution agreement with Schmersal Belgium. Owing to the rapid growth in sales, the subsidiary ''SafeLine Europe'' was established in 2007 located in Brussels and in 2008 [[de:SafeLine-Deutschland GmbH]] was started in Rheinland, Germany. SafeLine now have subsidiary companies or distributors in more than 25 countries.
