CANopen Product Guide 2007

CAN in Automation (CiA) published the CANopen-Product catalogue CANopen Product Guide 2007. With the members of SIG Lift this medium for product advertising seems not to be sufficiently known. Until now there are just some positioning systems of two manufacturers listed in the category Lift.

The catalogue available at www.can-cia.org/pg/canopen offers a comprehensive overview on the currently available CANopen devices and services on the market.

The entries are listed according to category. This comprehensive application-specific devices (e.g. for railroad, trucks, lifts, etc.), but also for generic devices (e.g. drives, controller, gateways, E/A modules, etc.).

The CANopen Product Guide also offers the possibility to search for product names, manufacturers or for conformity to CiA devices and application profiles.

Each product entry will be accompanied by an extended information part about worldwide sales contacts and technical contacts of the manufacturers. Further information contains an all encompassing introduction into the CANopen protocol and into the CiA device and application profiles.

The CANopen Product Guide at CiA website has been accessed 359 175 times in 2006. The CANopen Product Guide 2007 can be ordered for free as a CD-ROM via headquarters@can-cia.org. It will be offered at trade fairs and exhibits worldwide, as well as at CiA seminars and conferences.
