The lift component manufacturers tested their CANopen-Lift products’ interoperation on the 3rd of December, 2013. Nine companies from Denmark, Germany, France, Sweden and Spain travelled to Nuremberg for the 7th PlugFest. Host was the CiA.

Not only the usual tests concerning the interoperation took place, but also the assembly’s functions at the physical borders of the specification. For one thing, the functions have been tested with a maximum bus length and for another, with a maximum bus load. Every participant’s component passed the test successfully.

PlugFest 2013-12

The lift component manufacturers tested their CANopen-Lift products’ interoperation on the 3rd of December, 2013. Nine companies from Denmark, Germany, France, Sweden and Spain travelled to Nuremberg for the 7th PlugFest. Host was the CiA.

Not only the usual tests concerning the interoperation took place, but also the assembly’s functions at the physical borders of the specification. For one thing, the functions have been tested with a maximum bus length and for another, with a maximum bus load. Every participant’s component passed the test successfully.

The next PlugFest is scheduled for April 2014. If needed further PlugFests can be scheduled earlier.
