In the period from 15th to 18th October 2013 the world's largest trade fair for elevator technology Interlift 2013 took place in Augsburg.
In the period from 17th to 20th October 2023 the world's largest trade fair for elevator technology Interlift 2023 took place in Augsburg/Germany.


The CiA was present there once again. They supplied an information stand about CANopen-Lift and the CANopen-Lift demonstrator to show the functionality of CANopen in lifts.
On the occasion of the '''20th anniversary''' of the first participation in the Interlift of SIG Lift, CiA was again represented with an information booth on the subject of ''CANopen-Lift''. They informed about CANopen-Lift and presented the CANopen-Lift demo wall to show the wide range of available CANopen-Lift devices.


You could find many new and familiar CANopen products at the stands of many manufacturers.
Interlift 2025 will be held for the first time in Nuremberg, CiA's home city. Whether CiA will be present there with its own stand will be decided by the members of MG Lift in the coming year.

The Heilbronn University started a a research project, that aims at various aspects of the automation of elevators with CANopen, such as compliance testing "in the loop" and the possibilities of telemetry and remote diagnostics.

The goal of the project is an elevator system model built in 1:10 scale and controlled via original CANopen components.
