Welcome to CANopen-Lift.orgThis wiki is about the CANopen technology used in a lift. Here we discuss the topics application profile, technical solutions, products and applications and we will present some references with this technology. This wiki is attended by the CANopen-Lift community, the members of the SIG Lift and of the MG Lift. You are cordially invited to add your own content to this subject. If you do don't know how to do this refer to our tutorial. You can find an overview over this wiki in the Community portal or in the Site categories. Currently, this wiki is biliterate. In year 2002 we began with a German website and in year 2005 with a German wiki. CANopen's increasing awareness in more and more countries all over the world brought us to the decision of setting up an English wiki, too, in order to meet the demand of information. At this time you will find most of the information only on the German part of this wiki but we are working hard on translating. If you liked to help us, contact the Webmin, please. We hope you enjoy your visit and draw inspiration from this wiki. Yours sincerely,

Model lift system with CANopen componentsThe Heilbronn University started a a research project, that aims at various aspects of the automation of elevators with CANopen, such as compliance testing "in the loop" and the possibilities of telemetry and remote diagnostics.
