Description

IXXAT Econ 100 combines a wide range of interfaces with a unique multi-protocol support. The basic version of the device has each two Ethernet, CAN and USB interfaces. Expansion of interfaces and functionality can be achieved by using the expansion interface or the on-board FPGA. The unique modular concept of the IXXAT Econ 100 enables you to easily extend the existing interfaces and functions, allowing to adapt the device to your specific requirements. Customized gateway and control solutions can therefore be swiftly and easily implemented for a variety of different fieldbus and industrial Ethernet standards.

The IXXAT Econ100 can be used as:

• easily programmable machine controller enabling direct connection of sensors and actuators
• subordinated controller or gateway in larger systems, controlling sub-processes and providing various connection possibilities to the superior system
• multi-protocol gateway for fieldbus, industrial Ethernet and serial interfaces with extensive data-manipulation capabilities
• flexible adaptable and real-time capable controller for demanding applications, e.g. robot systems
